I also have a couple ovals made up that were orders that were never paid for or heard from again.

No luck on the 9" ovals. I have one of the new style ovals, but it's not looking good for getting it painted.

I like the silver with black lettering.

How do you get the OEM Emblem off the Tailgate ?

Some people use fishing line to saw through the old foam tape.
I've used a thin putty knife to cut the old tape off (have to be careful not to scratch the paint around the oval though).

Sometimes I'll soak the back area of the oval with goo gone to loosen the adhesive before cutting on it.

4.5” x 1.625”.

Can you do the silver/blk with red letters ?

How much for just one for the Tailgate ?

Are these brand new pieces ?

2011 pricing:

4 1/2" & 4 3/4" wide ovals, 2 colors w/chrome bases $24.00 each shipped US

4 1/2" & 4 3/4" wide ovals, 2 colors w/pained bases $28.00 each shipped US

5 3/4" wide ovals, 2 colors w/chrome bases $34.00 each shipped US

5 3/4" wide ovals, 2 colors w/painted bases $38.00 each shipped US

7" wide ovals, 2 colors w/chrome bases $40.00 each shipped US

7" wide ovals, 2 colors w/painted bases $45.00 each shipped US

The small oval prices are basically the same, but the new larger ovals took me over 6 months to find & some of them broke during disassembly

For an extra $10 per oval, I will do my super-special mod to the bases in which I remove ALL of the original chrome down to the base plastic before painting with several coats of paint...

Here's a LINK to my photobucket custom oval pics.

I've tried a couple with dual color backgrounds, but I could always see the line where one color was masked off from the other color

BUMP with special update!

I have been hard at modding stuff & I have a few custom ovals completed or nearly completed.
These are the ONLY ones I currently have that are at this stage & the ONLY ones in these colors/sizes. I still have many more ovals to mod in various sizes, these are just some that I modded ahead of time.

#1, 2 & 3.
White background, Black text, Chrome base.
ONE of each 4 1/2", 4 3/4" & 5 3/4" wide.

#4.
Black background, White text, Chrome base 4 1/2" wide

#5.
Black background, Red text, Black base 4 1/2" wide

#6.
Silver background, Black text, Black base 5 3/4" wide

#7.
"John Deere" Green & Yellow, Chrome base 4 1/2" wide

#8.
Silver background, Red text, Chrome OR Black base 4 1/2" wide.
This oval is not completed, there is ONE silver/red insert that I can attach to either a chrome or black base, whichever you'd like.

Standard 2012 Pricing Remains for these ovals, but I'll be able to ship them in a matter of days rather than the normal 2 weeks +/-.

4 1/2" & 4 3/4" wide ovals, 2 colors w/chrome bases $25.00 each shipped US

4 1/2" & 4 3/4" wide ovals, 2 colors w/pained bases $28.00 each shipped US

5 3/4" wide ovals, 2 colors w/chrome bases $35.00 each shipped US

5 3/4" wide ovals, 2 colors w/painted bases $38.00 each shipped US

7" wide ovals, 2 colors w/chrome bases $40.00 each shipped US

7" wide ovals, 2 colors w/painted bases $45.00 each shipped US

What years are these? I like #8 but it has to fit 06+ stock emblem holes.

Off the top of my head... the 06's should have a 7" or 9" grille & tailgate oval.
I forget the actual years... you can measure your ovals to make sure, just get an overall width of the chrome base side to side.
