still have these?, will they fit if you mod them with a dremel?

Yeah you just have to trim one little tab down on them, its easy to do. Just compare your stock bulbs to these and you'll see what needs to come off.

I'm thinking DSG with yellow would look good, I rarely use my fogs anymore...

Is there a big problem running 70w bulbs with the stock wiring and all? Would this be a problem on the 07+ that have the switch integrated with the headlamp switch? (im used to old cars, im afraid of overloading stuff lol)

Depending on that.... ill take em if Cody doesnt.

For some reason I remember hearing about someone complaining his 65w bulbs were wanting to heat things up a bit too much.. you woul d probably have to reinforce the wiring and install some sort of new relay or something for the fogs I'm gussing to run 70watters without a problem

Ahh thats right, was doing some searching - and you have to buy a heavy duty wiring harness for your lights to make sure they dont melt any of the current wiring.. I believe it upgrades the stock wiring from a 16 gauge to a 14 gauge

Thanks, Im out then. Im lazy and dont like messing with wires. I dont use fogs a ton either, even though it would look good.

LOL...this shot up quick all of a sudden.....well if anone is interested just shoot me a PM. I'm not promising anything on these and not responsible for anything....i just ordered the wrong set and sellin these if someone else is interested in them, Like trent said they will work with a lil modin but then you could just be like me and order the RIGHT set to begin with. I know i just put my foot in my mouth there but i have to be honest about it, Im not gonna lie or cheat anyone on here..lol!! :biggthump i also heard from another member that if you have the small square fogs like mine the bulb will not even go in without some trimmin if you have the round fogs they'll fit right in np.

GrafixGuy 07-02-2009 10:24 AM

I have square fogs... I'm out...
