I feel like being helping today.
Yes. They have a gap. Check my Road Ranger thread for photos. I think they are page 3 or 4. I have the blacked out verison, where it looks he's selling the non-blacked out version. I believe on 2001 to 2006 trucks their is a plastic strip that eliminates this gap... but on my truck no luck. I haven't looked into this further. (You can also click the OP's pictures to get a bigger image).
And the other question, the main headlights are bolt in/plug in to the existing harness. The Halos are not. They need to be spliced into the parking light (or whatever light you want I suppose). Took me an extra 20 minutes per light. But all and all, I think the Halos are the best part about them.
I paid around $240 so this is a good price ($40 discount) if they are still in good shape.

Sniper, thanks for the helpful response. I agree with everything you said. They bolt-in easy, the halos would take a few minutes per side to wire in, I just never bothered. The gap is only there on the newest Rangers. Not sure when they stopped the light cap, but it could be used on these to fill that gap. Also, these lights are still mint, like I said truck's only been driven less then 2,000 miles since installed.
