Sorry everyone, I know I have been pretty MIA. Between work and moving, things have been busy. Anyhow, the guy won't return any of my calls/e-mails so I am left to assume that it is sold. If anything comes up I will post immediately and/or PM any of you. I will be keeping my eyes peeled because I need some stuff too.

Again, sorry about all the run-around everyone.

I do have access to explorer seats. Anyone want pics/descriptions? PM me please if you do.

That’s sucks, if this is the same guy I as talking to in NY, delucas is not giving anyone the run around.
He answered the CL Ad e-mail only, talked to me on the phone once and then that is it nothing, can’t contact him.
No address, other than Lyons, NY, from CL and nothing else.
He won’t answer the phone, V-Mail is full all of the time and no e-mail answers either.
Why would he post in CL if he didn’t want to sell, i.e. talk to anyone; maybe as delucas said, he sold it already.
I think in the only phone call with him, when I said I lived pretty far away and needed time to come by and then I asked about the VIN he started to get jumpy, maybe it was stolen.

Thanks for the effort delucas.

Don’t get me wrong but this guy seems a little different on the phone when I talked to him, almost apprehensive.
Maybe better in the long run.
Sorry...

If anyone gets a hold of him and visits him, I NEED that Level II speed sensor out of the tranny. It can't be bought from Ford anymore. Its gone, nada, non existent.

the speed sensor is different in the level II extension housing? What's different about it?

I probably shouldn't be telling you this as its going to make the sensors even tougher to find.

Check out my Manual T-case swap thread as there are pictures in there of the Level II sensor.
https://www.ranger-forums.com/f37/ma...e-swap-103317/

The difference is the Level II is straight, and all others are 90 degrees. The 90 degree will fit with some dremel work but it also puts the wires in a bind (which will eventunally crack/break) as the sensor is too close to a rib on the Level II tail shaft housing. You can't get a new Level II sensor from Ford as if you find one at a dealership it will be the new style 90 degree sensor in the Level II package. I ordered one and found that out the hard way. I also had my friend print out a list of every dealership in the country that lists the Level II sensor part number hoping someone had the old style on the shelves. I called every single one of them and had them check the package. It was a 90 degree one in the Level II packaging. I'm so damn pissed that I didn't get that sensor from the Level II I got my twin stick setup out of.

Don't worry, i don't need one. My 02 fx4 already has it and i've already got one to do my twin stick swap on my 04 edge. I just didn't know they were different. Why didn't they give you the extension housing when you bought your whole set up?

Damn you! The setup I bought was complete minus the extention housing. The yard I bought my setup wasn't going to break the extention housing off the transmission, so I got everything but that. I then had a friend who is head man at the local ford dealer order me a housing at cost. So I have a complete setup minus the sensor, that is unobtainable.
