Plate Bumper (front) - WI

10 Attachment(s)
Some of you may have seen my bumper I posted in the fab thread, but I thought I'd put it up in here also for the others that dont get into that section. Quite a few have shown interest in buying this bumper so I thought I may as well put some more together.

* The plates are a combination of 3/16" and 1/8".

* The weight is around 70 lbs.

* It uses the OEM foglights with the 3 mounting screws.

* Bolts on to factory mounting location.

* Any questions, feel free to ask.

* I can change the tow hooks to shackle mount or make other changes if you are interested

I'm asking $870

Very cool bumper! For anyone who thinks this is a lot to spend, try building one yourself! it's no walk in the park! very cool bumper with a lot of work in it! I wish I had cash to throw around.

Yes, I will be steeling ideas from this bumper.

Why again are you selling?

Thanks, I know exactly what you mean. I didn't want to throw down a thousand plus for a bumper at the time either, but after going through the whole build, I totally understand why they cost so much.

The welding and grinding time was a small part of the build, coming up with what I wanted it to look like, with the tools I had available to me was the hardest and the most time consuming part IMO.

I think this is a pretty fair price, and by the sounds of ot others agree.

Again thanks for the compliments everyone!!

Props for a solid product. Is it compatible with a front hitch?

I meant more if it's on my truck. Could a hole be added or would that be better off left to me to get placement spot on?

BradS 07-10-2012 10:16 PM

Oh ok. It would probly be best if you were able to get cut the opening so it lines up correctly with your hitch brand.

It would be pretty easy to do. Drill a hole at corner and use a cut-off wheel to connect the holes.
