45 High Powered Wide Angle Ceramic SMT LEDS

Got these a few days ago, they're brand new. I ordered the wrong bulbs but don't want to deal with restocking fees and all that BS, so i'm selling the pair for 30 bucks SHIPPED. I need these gone today though, or else I'll just send them back..

They're REALLY bright. They look awesome, let me know.

I've never known Chris (from autolumination) to charge fees if something does not work out. I have the same style with 60 LEDs in my headlights and I'm dissapointed that they aren't bright enough.

 

you don't think they're bright enough with 60?! damn these are a big step up from my chrome domes hahahah.

i just emailed him and asked for a return he said i could return them but i read their return policy and it said there was a 20% restock fee..

Our threshold for brightness is different than his.

Ok - I swear to got I just literally laughed my *** of right in my living room.

I don't want to say anything that would be considered negative to the OP's FS thread so I'll tread lightly.

The plugins (all plugins) have the same problem. Our lights use reflectors which are carefully designed to harness the 360 degree fluid output from your standard incandescent bulb. Plug and Play "PnP" bulbs don't give that same output back into the reflector and because of this your very limited on the actual use of the reflector. I was selling those L1224R's for quite some time because these bulbs were designed with a fiber optic base to use the reflector rather efficiently. The other problem with PnP's is that there is no heat sink capacity, so you can't really use anything that's higher current (higher current means hella-bright.)

I'm sure that the 45 degree PnPs you have are similar to my 60's. I have the 60's on my 2004, and the factory amber incandescent bulbs on my 2003. I know that my turnsignals on the front of my 2003 way outperform my 2004.

Color wise - the PnPs are still "prettier to look at" - I'm sure thats what the FS's OP meant to say.

The problem I have with all PnP LEDs this style is I don't think they are safe say, driving into the sun on a late afternoon (say 6PM when the sun is low on a summer day) - I know on my 2004 the running lights in the headlights are washed out in this condition, and you can barely see any wide glow of the turnsignals. They are cooler in the manner they are "instant on/instant off" - I definitely have to agree with this. I think these LEDs would be a great choice for someone who wants LED but does not want to go through the cost/time/labor to to a real PCB retrofit. To do all 3 of my vehicles it is going to cost me probably a few thousand dollars, and months of labor. LEDs are basically all I work on now when I'm not tuning. Eat, Sleep, LED.

As for Chris at autolumination: I've bought a TON of stuff from there and they know me - maybe that's why I've gotten the hookup from him before.
