You can PM dixie_boysles, he had one on his truck and is selling the ranger. Maybe he would take it off and he is in NC.

I would ask if you've checked the local yards but we don't have much in the ranger department at any of them.

Would you consider an aftermarket skid plate? I make and sell skid plates for 1998 ad newer rangers with torsion bar suspension (4x4/edge/sport models). They only cost $135 unpainted or $160 powdercoated so as far as price they are most lilkely more affordable than a factory plate and certainly a lot higher quality / protection.

Afraid not, Im pretty small still (Ive only sold about 150 so far) but none the less I think I have an excellent design and I have nothing but positive feedback on them. They are for sale on Ebay currently, otherwise you can PM me your email address and zip code and I can give you a paypal pay request with shipping included (they are a little cheaper this way because I can avoid the ebay seller fees). I usually keep at least 10 stocked ready for shipment at any time so just let me know!

I'm still hoping to find an OEM model. It rarely goes off road and I am trying to keep it mostly stock. If nothing shows up by summer, I will probably give up and get one like yours.

I have this one from my truck I am not using anymore. I'm not sure if its what you're looking for but it mounts under the front crossmembers between the lower control arms

There is no exact means of fastening to the front crossmember so no, my plates do not provide fastener to the crossmember, however I do recommend using two self tapping screws on the corners of the plate where it contacts the crossmember. Never the less though, I drove my ranger 4 years with a skid plate mounted only through those 4 holes and heavily offroaded the truck with absolutely no issues, nor have I ever heard a complaint from a customer about this being an issue.

This one is wider in the back, its steel, came on the truck when I got it. It may be a superlift plate though. It just sprayed it with bedliner and never put it back on
