T-Rex Billet Grille HELP! - NY

2 Attachment(s)
So I've been thinking about getting a new grille for my truck. I'm not a fan of chrome and my current one, I painted black but that is starting to chip and look cheesy.

I think this grille looks awesome...

Does anyone know where I could get a black surround piece for it because I think It only comes with the insert pieces. It would be quite handy If I could just by the entire thing already put together but I'm having trouble finding something like that

P.S. I sent an email to the "contact us" part asking about this as well

Thanks for any input!

you can pick up a 2004-2005 aftermarket replacement grille on ebay for pretty cheap. simply take out the honeycomb insert and put the billet in. I'd get a carriage works brand grille, they're a bit nicer.

As far as the black surround, just paint your current one. Just did it with my new one. Went from sonic blue to black with some spray paint.

If I were to use my current grille I would need to cut all of the webbing out of the center, and as for painting it black I already tried that; It started pealing so it doesn't look good

One other option: I have thought about using some sort of rhino liner material to just paint the grille I currently have, that way I wouldn't have to worry so much about the paint pealing or chipping. What do you think?

You need to sand the grill a bit before painting it.

he has an H bar. theres no point in using it for a billet grille. he needs 04-05 grille and surround which is posted above.
