Waag Sportster

Figured I would give this a try and see if anyone has or knows anyone selling the old Waag bar.

How much is one worth to you?

x2 lol

lol... well considering we coulda got them brand new for 320, little less than that for a used one. Just found out Pro Gard has a universal one similar to the WAAG.

The key phrase is... could have gotten them. You can't get them anymore, thus raising the rarity of the item.

And they are awesome and hard to find so the price is gonna be higher than you would have paid for one new

Well I'm waiting on an email back from WAAG about another opportunity to do a group buy and just pay for 10 of them myself.

Hmmm
$320 x 10 = $3200 for 10 brushguards vs paying a member a small premium for their used one $3-400. I think I've just realized why the housing bubble just happened.

Not really. I know I'm not the only one who was wanting one. This way someone who wouldn't have the funds at the deadline of ordering them would have a chance at a later time. I don't mind helping out fellow members.

Thats nice of you then. I've seen people try to put group buys together on these things and I'm pretty sure it never happens. Its like most group buys, everyone says they want one but very few ever actually pony up the $$$$.

DSFD506 06-24-2010 07:43 AM

Yeah exactly. If I had some then I could be more flexible with others payment options than the company would be. I think there has only been 2 successful buys on these few years back. Kyle and Josh, you're more than welcomed to PM me what you two would ask for yours.

btm757 06-24-2010 02:18 PM

If I had the cash I would be in on it

jaymo08 06-24-2010 05:46 PM

I've asked if anyone was interested in doing a group buy in another forum a while ago. no takers though. If you move forward with this let me know, i was just getting ready to buy the westin before the free light special ends. Getting the waag would be awesome. Anyone know how it mounts? is it to the frame? are tow hooks removed? Just trying to figure out how strong it would be. thanks

****Found some pictures of how it mounts, still can't tell if you have to remove tow hooks or not.......
