Looking for a topper for my '05 ranger. It has a 6' box. I am looking for the flush height design, color doesnt matter. Let me know what you got...thanks!

 

If you look on craigslist you can probably find one cheap then paint it. Or if you want to buy a new one then plan on spending $1000+. I got mine with a carpet kit for $400 on CL.

 

Check your local dealerships and ask them if they have any used ones one the back lot. That's how I got mine.

dont know if you know but there is a leer factory in milton maybe try them andd see if they have a junk one for sale ( if you know how to fiberglass and all that)

 

IMO I think Leer's look better... but Pilot's right A.R.E's can be found cheaper..

 

dont buy a **** cap when you can get on CL for around 100 bucks

Also, as a heads up- Leers I am told are the thinnest, so if you puts weight on the roof they are prone to cracking. I was also told ARE are the strongest. (People who use RTTs get ARE. )

Also, new I paid 1700 for mine with carpet, windoors, you name it. I saw a used one exactly the same for 400 and not old at all. Guess where? Craigslist. Check it out you will find something.

i was thinking about selling mine recently. Dont think I could get enough money for it to make it worth it though. Its a leer 100R black, with a brand new set of Thule towers and bars. I will always go with leer. ARE's are ugly IMO, i dont care how 'strong' they are. My buddy has an ARE and they look too arrow and dont blend with the body lines well. i love my LEER, the way it looks and hav put it to great use.

 

I do agree that LEER caps have the cleanest lines, they do look the best hands down.
