02 Explorer Seats In An 05 Edge Extended Cab

What all sort of issues will I be looking at here. I know that they probably wont be a direct bolt in, but the ones I found were full power on driver and passenger as well as factory seat heaters. The guy I am getting them from also threw in the full length console for me too. I will be going and pulling them all out here in the next couple weeks after I get back from vacation. Thankfully he wasn't in too much of a hurry.
I will post some Pics in the morning, but I know the seats are pretty rough and I'll need to get at least the bottoms redone, but for $75 and getting both power seats and a full length console that is almost perfect, except for the broken latch which is only like $10 on ebay, I think I got a steal. But I will need to wait until I pull everything out before I really know what I'm getting into. I know I'll probably have to do some fabricating, but that isn't too big of a deal for me. I have all the tools I would ever need. I'm just really happy that I found some that had factory heat and lumbar support!

i did the 99 expo seats those are direct swap the 02 are close but its a different floor pan you will have to fab the seat brackets to fit because if you change them you lose the power feature. But for replacing the leather check out the seat shop.com thats where i got my replacement bottoms he sells them precut to fit and they are really high quality i did both bottoms and I'm eventually going to redo the seat backs as well.

Here is a picture now that I finally have a chance.

Now couldn't I possibly make some sort of adapter that bolts into my floor and then bolts into the bottom of the seat?

I have looked and this is the best deal I've found. There aren't any junk yards even close to me and I'm willing to do some fab work. Come on, $75 for full power, heated seats and the full length center console. The best I found on ebay was like $150 a piece for the seats.

i think your best route would be to pick up a 95-01 track and then frankenstein the power tracks together or weld the tabs from the 95-01 to the 02 tracks ill try to get some picks of my 99 tracks so you can see what it needs to look like finished $75 isn't bad mine were $70 from a local yard but they had sat with the windows down so the seat backs had some mold i had to clean up but all in all thats a fair price and i know it can be done I've seen them installed. For the heat feature that may take some work some trucks had built in regulators and some had external modules make sure you get all of it its designed to cycle the heater on and off you don't want it to run constantly or you can have a fire.

Thank you for the reminder. I told the guy that I wanted all the wires running to it and he agreed so I will take all I can.
