lowering seat

I gotta brand new ranger sport. Im 6'6" and my head rubs the ceiling and id like to lower my seat if possible... is there a replacement mount out there that I can buy that's lower, or some super genius trick that you guys know of? Like 2-3 inches lower would be fantastic...

about the only thing you could do is remove foam from the bottom of the cushion. but this may cause the seat to be uncomfortable.

You could always trade someone for their flat worn out seats... lol.

If you could determine the position you wanted (forward and backward) then you could hard mount the seats but there isn’t 3” under there to work with.

I did mount some buckets in an 82 Jeep once with aftr mkt tracks from Corbeau. but they must be available elsewhere, they just might work and the legs could be cut down.

I got the Tracks form QuadraTec.

I have the same concern as seethesvt. However I have a 2001 b3000 with the extended cab. I have been wondering about power seats from an Explorer, because often times with power seat you can raise or lower the seat. Is this a workable idea, and if so which year of seats from an Explorer would you recommend? I really do not want to do a lot of adaptions. Thanks!

yeah but those power seats are on a big electrical bracket. I would think you would have better luck with a manual bracket and fabing the drop yourself. Hell I am 6'3" and have thought about taking 1" out of every corner. even went as far as going to a junk yard and yanking a extra set of brackets. just have not cut them yet
