1995 Ranger center console armrest loose
 

The centre armrest in my 1995 Ranger XL is loose and I'm not sure if it's missing something - I'm hoping by the photos I included in this post, someone can help me out. I removed the console box and it doesn't make sense the way it is. Seems like there's something missing on the box where the vinyl is ripped. Any help is much appreciated.

You're missing the spring steel washer that goes on the pivot bolt. I've searched for a part number but have only come up with one seat illustration that showed the washer but didn't call it out. It's about 7/8" across and 1/4" high. I was lucky to find one in a junkyard.

Tightening the T55 (maybe T50) bolt is an okay fix, but the armrest was still slightly wobbly or too stiff without the washer.
