Silver XLT cluster but what color lighting

So I picked this up the other day. Now I dont know what color to make the lighting. All my other gauges are Autometer Ultra Lites. Which are silver w/ orange needles. I was thinking of doing all blue in everything or should do white lighting? Im kinda lost on what color to do The truck is white w/ dark grey interior and some white accents. Heres some pics for you guys. So what colors do you guys think I should do? Dont mind the dirty inside, its winter lol

Can't go wrong with white led's... what color are the cluster overlay lights now?

If you were to use blue or green led's in that cluster with the red needles, they may not light up nearly as well as when using white led's.

Stock cluster right now. I was just tryin to get all the gauges to match. If I use white LEDs and sand off the green would that mess up the looks of the cluster? If you know what I mean?

It shouldn't... although if you sand off the green color filtering, the gauges will have basically a white illumination look to them.

Hate to bump an old thread but figured I'd ask.

I just aquired the silver gauge cluster and should have it next week. I HATE the orangish needles. Can I just simply take off the white needles from my 01' cluster and put them on the new one? I like that the cluster lights up green but since everything in my cabin is already green/white having red needles isn't going to look right.

Thanks,
-Nigel

Yes but you'll have to calibrate the speedometer and place all the other needles in the correct spot.
