2002 Ranger 3.0 V6 Parking lights on dims clock
2002 Ford Ranger Edge 3.0, V6 4x4: with the engine running and i turn on the parking lights the factory radio/clock LED dims and the HVAC control backlit **** gets brighter. is this normal?

Turn dimmer wheel, next to headlight switch, higher

yes, the dimmer wheel adjusts the brightness but just curious as to why the brightness drops simply by turning on the parking lights? didnt; know if that was "normal" behavior

Yes, normal for most LCD radio vehicles, turning on parking or headlights changes radio back light to dimmer control, versus daylight bright
