Good Day All and Merry Christmas

Recently acquired a low mileage (25K) 2011 XLT 4x4. I would to replace the standard sun visors with illuminated ones or possibly the dual ones that were found in Explores/Mountaineers.

Is this possible? Is this a straight up swap? I realize that his entails some wiring which is not a problem. What I am looking for is what year donor vehicles do I look for?

Yes it's easy if you can find some in good condition. All they need is power and ground.

I am thinking of doing something similar, but I want to make new bases to adapt visors from another car to my Mazda 4x4. I was going to design and 3D print some adapters.

There's a thread somewhere here that shows a wired conversion step by step along with an Explorer overhead console. I was going to do this later in life to my rig, too.
