I know they changed the seating material. Before I go cutting and tearing fabric has anyone completed this mod on a 07 or 08 Ranger? These 2 chincy cupholders and tiny center console are going to drive me crazy and I don't want to spend a bunch on new seats. Plus I don't want to have to deal with the airbag sensor in the passenger seat.

 

so you want to go from buckets to the bench style?

 

Other way around. I have the bench and there's a mod to turn that into a stock looking seat. I just haven't seen it on an 08 yet.

I don't see why it shouldnt work the same, you'll have to take a look under the seat and see how the material attaches to the chair frame stuff like that etc.

 

You don't touch the passenger seat. The inside seat frames are practically identical to a '95 60/40. I see no issue. Trentin posted above me, and he did the mod to the 04+ square seats like yours.

 

Ok great. Now I just need to find a very good condition center console and I'll do the mod.
