60/40 seat question

Now, I know about the 60/40 conversion, but can you cut the middle section off the driver's side seat and bolt it back down so it stays still by it'self with the other 2 seats being able to move? just a question. Thanx

You would have to rig something up. The middle seat rides on the driver's side seat track and is supported by the driver's side seat frame. To make it independant from the driver's seat would mean fabbing up a lot of bracketry, then some upholstry work to finish it off.

Can't you feed them through the seat-belt hole and around the front? I guess that would leave some slack in the elastic though.....
