Hey all! I just got my dad's 87 Ranger XLT with the extended cab and the seats are not working properly.

The seat backs do not lock in place. It isn't a recline issue, that works fine. The issue is that you can lean the seat backs forward, like you're letting someone climb in to the back, without lifting the small lever on the back of the seat. My dad says they used to lock in place and doesn't recall it being an issue.

Has anyone seen this issue before and if so, were you able to fix it?
