93 Drivers Seat

Hi all. I'm working on my g/f's 93 Ranger XLT, supercab, and her drivers seat does not recline or angle forward (as to access the supercab).

I want to flatout replace the seat. Do I have to find a direct swap from a 93 or will any year work?

Thanks.

RJ

Most awesome, thank you for the info. I'm already looking on ebay/craigslist/junkyard for the part.

none of the 93-97 ranger seats move forward enough on the drivers side to access the back. its designed like this because the jump seats were designed for children. so they make them get in on the passenger so there no in the street. you will need explorer seats to get the seat to fold far enough forward. then you can nice power seats too.

I understand what you guys are saying, however, the seat on her truck doesn't move - at all. It's clearly broken somehow.

So 93 - 97 Explorer seats will work as well? Alright, I should expand my search then.

Thanks again.
