94 ranger instrument cluster
Just wondering if there is a place to buy some good looking instrument clusters for a 94 ford ranger. Only thing i have come across so far is glow in the dark gauge plates that you gotta pull the needles off to fit them. Id rather just buy a whole cluster and just plug in the gauges on the back. Or does any of the other year models swap out(or would that envole a dash swap?) If so what year dash would go in and still work the lights and 4x4 ect. thanks if you have any info on this.

93-94 ranger or exploder will work. 89-92 ranger/exploder/B2 will work if you change out some of the pins in the harness

I have never seen complete gauge clusters to swap in. They have the overlays that work pretty darn well. I have had two different kinds that I really liked, and they are pretty cheap.

Uh I don't understand how the stock instrument cluster would look better or cooler...I believe the question was if anyone made a custom or cool looking instrument cluster for a 94 ranger and you say you can use a 94 ranger cluster...wow lol.:261:
if the OP still lurks, which is doubtful as his last long in was 4/29/10, there are no other clusters that are plug and play other than the 89-94. the shape and electronics changed in 95. sure, you could go through all the hassle and problems of putting in a 95+ dash, but why? you would have to rewire the entire interior and parts of the motor just to get a cluster to work. you could always do a mustang dash like the one in my avatar, but it still requires a lot of work. |
Dakota Digita.com, prob make you anything you want.
