almost too embarrassed to ask (jack?)

Well i got my ranger a few months ago and i was playing with the idea of painting my stock rims black. Now i dont wanna mess the rims up so i figured i would "practice" on the spare. so i go out yesterday to remove the spare but i cant find the lug wrench or jack, ive been told to look behind the jump seats and under the passenger seat and even under the hood. the jack is nowhere to be found its a 94 ext cab splash any ideas or did the previous owner most likely remove it?:help[1]: :dunno:

Sounds like it has been removed if it's not in the cab.

the spare is a steel wheel. no need to practice just sand, prime, sand, shoot, clear and dry

evilclown312 01-18-2011 08:53 PM

It's probably been removed :(

try pulling down your headliner and checking on the underside of the roof.. maybe its hidden under your carpet, or in the foam of your seat.. keep looking.

Are you a moron?

Might just be better off going and getting a new jack from a parts store. Most stock ones are junk anyway, or take effin forever to jack up.

evilclown312 01-18-2011 09:25 PM

If it was under the headliner it would be bulging down and you would be able to tell... Plus i doubt anyone would do that..

RLong31 01-18-2011 09:52 PM

Yea dude, he was being sarcastic. Bazinga!

evilclown312 01-18-2011 09:56 PM

Well i am sorry :/

zak873 01-18-2011 09:58 PM

come on, you even have the word clown in your name :261: and you didn't get that.

evilclown312 01-18-2011 10:03 PM

Eh but the word evil is in front of it :P, eh just a ruff night at work, was a little frustrated and didn't think about it.

zak873 01-18-2011 10:08 PM

I find it quite hilarious that you thought something so off the wall, was serious, hahahaha. you have problems if you find your JACK or even lug wrench, above your headliner, or in your seat, or under your carpet.

I'm almost too embarrassed to try to help, since nobody suggested this I'm going to assume the '94s didn't have the jack hidden behind the rear cup holders like the newer models do?

yellow_tremor_03 02-12-2011 09:04 AM

Hey, do you have side pockets in the back? If so, each one has a rubber tray that removes. I think on the passenger side is where my jack is stored. Took car max forever to locate it for me. Good Luck!
