Ok, so my arm rest is loose or broke. I have a 94 4-banger. The arm rest is supposed to move up and down (which it does) but i can also shake it and sort-of move it from left to right when it is laying flat, i have looking at where its connected and it looks fine, any advice on what could be wrong and how to fix it without taking it in to a shop?

 

inside the arm rest there is going to be a star bolt. You'll need to get in the passenger side seat to see it as its on the drivers side. Take and try to tighten this up. I know mine was like that and i had to just tighten it up a bit.
