find a set of grey explorer ones. then have me wrap them in the suede, leaving all the plastic grey. then with a grey ohc, that would look sharp....

You don't think that would be too much black?

That looks great! What did you use, spray adhesive? I have wanted to do this just to change the color but mine still looks good with no sags. I like the suggestion of using grey sunvisors, that would look good too. If you do change the color of your visors, could you post it and let us know what products you used?

For thinner fabric, super 77 spray adhesive works best. If you go higher then the glue will soak through the fabric. I think I'm gonna keep the visors grey.

Did you follow Korey's how to? I didn't think you needed to take the old covering off.

I didn't even know there was a how to. I've done a handful of them and I have removed the old material every time. Taking it out took a lot of patience. It took two people to get it out. We had to rotation it and angle it and it still had to bend a little. It went in easier than it came out.

it all depends on the condition of the old material. if it's old and starting to fall, then it should be cleaned off. the foam starts to rot causing the material to drop. if it's a newer car (5 years or newer) you can probably get away with just pulling the cloth off, but leaving the foam.

sometimes you can't! i've done some where you have to basically fold it in half to get it out. there are a couple fords (and i'm sure other makes) that you have no choice but to pull a window. ford flex's, windshield has to come out. early 00s ford 150 crew cabs, back window has to come out. newer f150 crew cabs with the big console, both front seats, and the complete center console has to be removed to get the board out.

ext cab rangers (rangers in general) are one of the easiest truck headliners i have ever pulled. the last ext cab (2 door) it took maybe 10 minutes from pulling the first visor til the board was out the door. normally, just one guy works on a headliner.
