Billet Steering wheel installed with pics
I am starting on my interior this summer. To get the interior rolling I ordered a Billet Steering wheel on 5/23/2011. The manufacture is NRC it is the 108 Hawk 14 inch model with a light gray leather half wrap. NRC custom makes each wheel per order. It came in today so I pulled off the factory steering wheel and installed this piece of billet work. It is an easy job, it turned out pretty nice. The Lacerra adapter needs to be trimmed a little bit to let the adapter slide down the steering shaft another inch.

I dont know, these white ones are working pretty good.
Thanks Morris, the airbag is in my garage. Just unplug it, after you disconnect the battery. Peice of cake.
I heard those Hurst shifters are noisy or something? Yes I do still want one.

Casper all you need is a 8mm socket, and a T50 torx head. A couple hard shakes, pulls, and the stocker it is off. Slide the adapter on then tighten the T50, and bolt the wheel to the adapter with 8 allen head screws. The just push the horn button on. It is perfectly straight driving down the road too.

They are a little noisy, but not bad and if your like me and listen to your music and a decent volume you wont here it. There is a silencing mod you can do. Its in the how to, but its not loud enough to bother me. I have one in the 04 and have one to go into the 98 soon.

Thanks guys. I was sent the wrong Lacerra adapter, 89-91 Ranger. It worked but it did not fit right. So today I trimmed and worked the dremel to modify the adapter. The results are better, the new steering wheel slides down on the column another inch.
The wiper fuse does not eliminate the light, but I have another plan I am about to go try out.
