1992 Jump seat question

1992 Jump seat question
How can I remove the original seat padding, and put in new padding while keeping the stock plastic piece? By plastic piece, I mean the thing you see when the seat is closed.

I wouold guess take off the handle first (2 svrews) nd it should give you an insight as to what is next, if you mees up I got a couple jump seats from my 92 you can have if you want
