will any ohc fit in my 98 or do i need to find a 98-00 ohc.

95~2001 Explorer overhead console will work.

95~97 = blue display
98~01 = green display

Bob linked my install how-to pages, so I'll return the favor, lol.

One thing my how-to is lacking is the information on how to properly calibrate the compass once you have it installed.

when Bob says that the '95-'97 has a blue display, it is not really a true "blue".....more like a teal color.....i think it matches the green on the gauges pretty well.....

i think you will like the OHC mod.....i love it!

just have to find one i like, and i got my explorer radio bezel in today, gotta figure out what to do w/ the rear wiper switch and the fluid button, any input

nitrous activation.. yeahhhh; lol jk, Maurice has a thread on this as well, I think he's using his to turn on lights

the wiper switch wont work to turn on lights because of all the resistors inside the switch....i talked to Bob about it and he said it would take extensive mods to the switch internals......i may find something else to go there instead...

hmmmm pretty good difference there......the blue one matches my lights better anyways....glad i didn't get a green one....it would look funny...
