bucket conversion

bucket conversion

how much would it cost and how hard would it b to switch out the bench seat in my 87 ranger to 2 buckets if i can get all the parts from my sisters old car

i think you would have to use the brackets from here car, bolt them to your floor and then you can put the seats on....seems like a lot of work, plus it may not be as safe becasue the bolts arent going to end up in the spot desined for them

i say go for it. you could probably use your brackets with a bit of drilling or her brackets with some drilling. get to work and see what happens. im sure it can be done with as little as some hardware from home depot or something. just remember to keep it safe.

hey thanks you guys i think im gonna do it she actually has an 89 mustang it doesnt run so we were gonna part it out so im just gonna take the seats and brackets but will that mess up the seat belt system because you know you need the seatbelts when you see a cop

ya me again do you think somehow i could put the console in there too i no that would take alota work but i think that would look cool a mustang interior in my truck

anything is possible and you should be able to keep your stock seat belt points. id reccomend your truck brackets as they may set up higher unless you like setting low.
