Icon2 Carpet or Rhino Line?

Have an 88 reg. cab with no Carpet. Should I get some in there, how hard is it to find, and price? I don't think I will go carpet, I am a rancher, and this is a rolling project as of right now, so I looking at Rhino Line so I can just wash it out. Also, anyone know where or what year buckets would fit into an 88. I want a center console so I can have a cup holder and a nice 10" sub. Any help in the direction or your ideas??

if its going to get dirty in the inside alot, i would just do the rhino lining. and for bucket seats, you could just go get a set of seats out of the junk yard, ranger or explorer seats will work. and for the center console, you could just build your own out of wood, and make cup holders for it and make a hole for a sub and just rhino line it too.

Yeah I planed on just building my own console, and doing the RLine to it also, the truck will be dirty gotta play hard right? Really any seat from exploder should fit? Nice. Wasn't sure if they would be a problem or not. Thanks.

you should raptor line it. would be cheaper cause you can do it your self. rhinoing it would prolly cost more than the trucks worth

97 and older ranger will be direct bolt in. 98+ ranger will require work. explorer up to 01 will bolt to your tracks. don't even bother looking for power seats as the power tracks won't work in a reg cab. also, bronco II, mustang, and several others will work as well.

i know there was an option for bucket seats with a center console in the older rangers, when i was looking for a new ranger i saw a second gen ext. cab had bucket seats with a console, all obviously stock, you can get them out of bronco two's as well, rhino liner looks nice, if your truck is a regular cab, walmart sells small rolls of automotive carpet for like 10 bucks that i think will fit, never really looked into it much other than i was thinking of putting the cammo carpet in my truck, i would of already but idk how much of a pain in the *** the seats are going to be to take out

Huh, never saw a Ranger with that option in it. I'm going to just build one, that way I can make it by my spec and what I want. Idk what I'm going to get the seats out of yet. Going to get the Rline (do it yourself stuff) that way I don't have to worry about getting carpet dirty. Wally World only had Gray where I'm at but I don't even wanna mess with it. Lol can't wait to go pickin this weekend now that I know what will fit into/onto ranger tracks.

I'd look into Monstaliner, I have it in the bed of my pickup.

It is not as rough as other DIY liners b/c there is no ground up tires. **** durable too. It would be perfect for the floor boards.

Shoot me a message if you want a few pictures to see what it looks like.

I saw your pictures on the "what did you do in your ranger today" thread I haven't seen the finished pics yet. Yeah I don't want something to course in the cab on the floor. Just want something to cover the floor and durable. Carpet will get trashed with all the dirt from the Ranch. Someone said something about Rapture liner but I have never see it.

I'll see about gettin some more pictures up later. I like monstaliner because it has a bumpy semi gloss orange peel texture to it, which won't take your knuckles off if you happen to drag across it's surface. Most if not all other liners have ground up tire and are extremely abrasive, and because of the tire used as filler and texture, the will fade just as fast as any rubber product will out in direct sunlight.

look into a tremor or fx4 w/ the sound system upgrade. it came w/a 10" sub inside the console.

Legoms013- thanks man! Yeah being in Tx the sun is a big problem. I'm going to line the bed too and don't want it turning gray in a few months. The sun will cook everything here. Also don't want something that will rip your skin off if you drag your knuckles like you said. The woman is always in flip flops or bear foot in the truck so I don't need her rippin her skin off, lol.

Wirelessly posted

I USED an entire gallon of herculiner in my bed. It\'s very abrasive. My girl was sitting on the tail gate and she got up kinda slindin off she ripped the skin off her back thys. Stuff gets me here and there two. It\'s sooper grippy I had a 5 gallon bucket of shock with a open tailgate and it never moved.
