in the center console did anyone leave the little fan in there? or should i just take it out since there will be no use for it..and also how do i get power to that cig lighter?...just pigtail a wire from my cig lighter in my stereo bezel to the one in the center console?..last but not least inside the cup holder has a bunch of crap in it...how do i get in there and paint it? ..scrap it off? or is there a easier way

 

Dump the climate control stuff, it's not needed. Pigtailing a wire from the original cigarette lighter will work although it probably would not be a good idea to engage both lighters at the same time.

 

it wont hurt anything....if it pulls too much power it will pop the fuse.....if that is the case then get a 5 amp higher fuse when you replace it........i have powered a cell phone charger and a laptop charger at the same time with both of mine with no problem....
