Center console questions

One of my next planned mods is putting in a center console. So what center consoles have you guys used beside the explorer? I'd like to keep the factory floor one if possible cause I've grown partail to it. Any one got any pics of the factory ranger one?

I dont think there ever was a Ranger center console. I thought all rangers had a front bench.

My 02 edge has factory buckets and center console, but not quite like the one above. I will take some pics after work.

Thanks, I not so sure on the factory ranger center console, because Im not so sure about the armrest overhang. I'm a big guy and I think I would break that damn thing if I put any weight on it.

Muddy, it's plenty strong. I'm 6'1, 250 and I put my weight on mine all the time.

I know some Explorers (like ours) have a problem where the damn armrest breaks off.

I'm on my third armrest. The design blows! In my defense, I've only broken one. The second one was broken by my lovely dealer friends while they were installing it!

The dealer gave me static on the first one. They said I damaged it by sitting on it. I did not..

well that makes me feel better then, as I'm 5'11 220lbs, But I actually think the exploder console fits with the dash alot better. Too bad The superduty console cant fit, that thing has mass amounts of storage.

I like the explorer console better also, but I just don't know how it would look on the edge rubber floor. Carpet can fill in little gaps if it doesnt fit perfectly to the floor but the rubber cant.
