If your gonna do it either dye the interior or go to a junkyard and hunt down the color you want(as long as its black, tan, or grey lol)

Not to but in but where would one find the dye to dye the interior? I have done rattlecan before and have had two diffrent turn outs. One was a fume mess that i had a hard time to get out and the other was fine and no problems. But im intrested in dying it never done that before.

if you really must dye something, use SEM dye. It can be found online, or at part stores like car quest.

but IMHO, i would stay away. we had a truck come in that the owner tried to dye his interior. well, i'll let the pics do the talking.

do it once by doing it the right way. if you have ever put armor all on any of your interior plastics, you need to start scrubbing them everyday for the next month to get all the silicone off. silicone and paint = fish eyes. fish eyes look horrible.

I don't know what the guy used, paint or dye. Either way, if it were me, I wouldn't do it. I just don't trust dye/paint on large plastic parts. It will flake, chip, or scratch eventually. Then you'll be doing it again. I did a color change in my truck from light grey to the dark grey. I wrapped everything with vinyl. Dash, door panels, pillar, etc. Other than being dirty, it still looks like it did 3 years ago when i did it. But I also understand that not everyone can do it.
