New seats and Questions need answering!

I'm having new race seats installed tomorrow but I had a question about it. When I took off my passenger seat the other day I noticed that the seat belt came off with it, like it was attached. Does this mean when I get the new seats in I will have nothing to snap my belt in to? Or can it come off the seat and be attached to the floor somehwere to hold me in the new seats? Please help me out, pics would be nice too if anyone has done this before.
