cluster question/ pic request
has anyone ran the blue leds though the stock black gauges? i'm not a huge fan of the white/silver clusters but would like to go with blue, does anyone have pics of the blue lighing with black faces?

You have to take off the black face and sand the back of it, then paint if blue and it will be blue. I did mine in red. Sorry no pictures.

I find the black faces' font to be uber dull looking, thats probaby why more don't use the stock faces.
I thought Mudranger96 used the black faces....well....he did, but he's using an aftermarket white overlay. I think I've got pics of red led's with blackface somewhere. |
if you find something just post it up when ever you get time

I had blue LED's with the black sanded overlays for a minute. It wasn't that great, I hate how doing it like that causes all the red on the gauges to get lost...looks like ****.
The best way IMO is to use blue film with white bulbs, that way the red parts stay untouched and only the green parts turn blue. |
so pull the overlays and sand and blue transparent paint with superbright white leds?
