Removing and Recoving a Headliner

I want to remove my headliner and recover it, but I can't figure out how to get the trim off along the doors. I don't see any screws in them (minus the ones in the handles, which I removed) so I am guessing there are just clipped in but I am worried about breaking them. If I can get that off the rest should be easy, I heard yourautotrim.com or Jo-Anns is good for getting the fabric and that 3M adhesive is best for re-gluing it but what would I do if the foam is ruined?

Thanks!

That is going to be perfect for after I get the headliner out, but I am still having issues with getting the Trims/Pillars off. I found how they are clipped in and the only way I found to get them off was just pull hard until it pops out but the parts near the glass and above the seat belts I can't get off. And those stupid Christmas tree screws/plugs aren't coming out. Any tools to remove them are just rip them out and buy new ones?

Ohh and should I try to cover my visors or just go with the same color as my current headliner and visor? If it is possible and semi-easy to cover the visor what color do you guys thing I should go with, I will attach a picture of my interior.

Well, I got it off last night but in the process I broke many of the Christmas Tree Fasteners so I went to my Ford dealership and got replacements at $1 per, they will be here in a few days. I am checking to see how one it would cost at a local place, it would be about the same price as the materials but I have to double check.

Try these guys:

http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Doo...ners_s/268.htm

Got the exact replacement dark grey to match my 03 interior for about $0.30 each.

Give Ford back their Clips.

You may need your VIN to get the correct stuff.

Here is another location but U have not used them:

My buddy used this one local shop and told me about it. He had the correct fasteners and is doing everything for $50. So I am happy, lol. Just have to get these stupid brake drums done.

I'm adding a pic I just took of my 1993 Ranger trim retainer. I'll be replacing headliner soon and needed a good measurement. Hope it can benefit someone else. The N802734S measures 25mm OD, 8mm wide shaft 20mm long. I had the inch scale across it when I took the pic.
