Ever thought about a Ford Explorer full length console? What broke on your current console? The arm rest? if so...VERY VERY common problem.

 

yeaa the arm rest and ive tightend the bolts on the bottom but its still wobbally

 

lift up arm rest, see huge crack, thats your problem. or...undo those 4 bolts that hold the lid to the bracket, pop off your cupholders and undo the 2 phillips head screws, then remove the center console. those floor nuts might be loose too..

 

yea i tightend the floor bolts, but i think the entire base is cracked or somthing... the whole center console is kinda iffy.. its been like that fora while.. just i havnt had the ambission to do nething about it yet...

i like your idea about the explorer console tho

 

The bracket that mounts to the floor is a pop metal aka it breaks easily. Take the console out and see whats goin' on with it.

 

In the black and gray seats anyone know where you can get the cupholder that is on the front?

It's only avaliable on the seat. No wherer else.

 

I often wondered about that myself...but what do I need 5 cupholders for when I'm usually the only one in my truck? haha

I asked because the seats I bought didnt come with it so I have no cupholders atm and it blows. I dont have the console that goes on the tranny hump either.

I have 8 cupholders: tranny hump x2, ex-console x2, ex-armrest x2, and the jack cover x2.

 

I may still have mine.

You need the studs that screw into the deals in bedded into the seats. I tried to pull the one part out of the seat with no luck

 

My truck has seats similar to those grey ones posted but I don't have the cup holders on the front of the seat. Is it possible to swap in that arm rest on the tan seats with the cup holder built into it? I just have the 2 cup holders on the console around my shifter and they're not very user friendly.

 

Do u have the same style seats like those?

If no I doubt u can cause u need the bracket it attaches to

 

I have an 04 and my seats look just like the grey ones except there is no cup holders on the seats. (and I don't believe there ever was one.) I'm just wanting to convert the armrest to the style on the tan seats. Which bracket are you talking about?
