Flip open the garage holder deal and remove the 2 screws in there. Then pulling from the front, pull down to disengage the two clips up front and its free. Theres a wiring harness with a plug disconnect in there. Don't pull too far down or you will strain the wires. Disconnect the wiring harness and then remove the mounting bracket 2 screws.
Now remove or cut the headliner and get as much of the wiring where it plugged into as you can. I got it all the way down to the fuse box along the A pillar by the windshield. Theres a plug there too you can disconnect. Once you get the console down, you can pretty much see what you need to get.
Don't forget the temp sensor up front either on or by the radiator support driver's side. Leave enough wire in that to connect the two wires up. Theres 2 sensors I think; you want the one with the blue/yellow and blue/white wires.
good luck,

Aye, ditto what Trent said, take off the Driver's side A pillar trim, grab handle(if equiped, I think it's those lil' pesky 5.5mm boltheads for the grab handles), & sun visor then you can access failrly easily underneath the headliner all the wiring. If the headliner is torn and messed up, after you drop the console you will see the wiring harness, just be very careful and cut the headliner out of the way as you trace the wiring harness across and down the A pillar.
