Door Rattle

My passenger side rear door rattles whenever I hit a bump, especially at slower speeds such as a speed bump. It almost sounds like the door isnt closing all the way. When I shut the passenger side front door, it kinda makes a slight rattle sound as well. its just not as solid sounding as the drivers side door. I also have to slam the suiced door pretty hard to make both the top and bottom latch up, so I know there in lies the "problem"

I tried messing with the striker, but couldnt figure out how to move them around. Theres only one place that they can go due to the screws holding them in place.

I also tried having the dealership fix this, but they couldn't do it and said that some trucks just do it and there is no fix. I dont buy that. Its been doing it since new, but just seems to be more annoying now... I guess cause the "new truck" stigma is wearing off lol. This is really annoying.

Anyone have this issue or know what I can do to minimize or fix the problem?

I have it too the passenger door is really bad. My dealership has told me twice that they can't even hear it. Which is bs since my hearing is half fried and I can clearly hear it. Just another pain in the ***.

yeah, right after I got my 'new' used truck, I found the passenger side rear door wouldn't close properly ... I took it back to the used dealer where I got it (which also happens to be a body shop) and told them about the problem, they took it right in and re-aligned the rear door, now it closes better ... well at least I don't have to slam it to get it to stay closed.
Try taking your ride to a body shop and see if they can fix it for ya. might charge ya an hour of shop time, but hey, if it fixes the door, it's worth it right?

I wrapped my latch in electrical tape and it stopped my doors rattling. Mine is a 2 door though. I know some people have used think water hose cut in a spiral to take the slack out of it.
