Exploder Interior: LOTS of questions, and LOTS of pic reqests!

Hi.

Now I'm stepping it up. I'm really diggin the Exploder swaps for the interior. I've got many questions, and some have been solved using the search button. I'm still pondering.....

I have a five speed manual. Any issues wiht the explorer console and the shifter?? I plan on throwing in a Hurst, any issues?? I also plan on the 1" body lift, any Issues?? Pic Request: Exploder center console with the five speed, please. I understand that there are differences with the consoles...cubbies, cupholders, etc. What is the ideal one for my application??

The little brother has had a Exploder OHC for a long while now, going on 2 years. I love it. I know I want the one without the sunroof switch. Now on to color....All my interior lighting is LED blue, exceot the dome light. I also know some exploders had blue display for the temp, etc. What years were these avaliable??? Pic request: Blue Exploder OHC display.

Yet another....Exploder Autodimming rearview mirror. The little brother has one ready to install in his ranger. He mentioned that it can be wired up so that I can have auto headlites. Is this true???

Thanks to anyone with info, and of course, PLEASE post your explorer'd out interiors.

Thanks!!!

Shane

the Explorer blue display came in 1998+ models.......

the center console will work with a 5 speed, but you will have to remove the upper pockets and make a custom shift boot.........

the auto dim mirrow with auto headlights can be wired for the auto headlights.......as soon as i can get my hands on one, i will have it....

Yes, the OE Ex autodimming mirror also has auto lamps capability.

Maurice, i dont think you've seen a '98-01 green OHC.. I posted a pic of mine in your OHC post, it is a lot brighter than the 95-97 blue-green OHC.. yours has the exact same color as the dash clock in my friend's 97 GT which is the blue.

if you want man, have a look at my Cardomain page...i think it's page 3...

i've done almost a complete interior swap on my truck...the only thing i haven't done YET is to add the Explorer bezel...i'm still working on getting everything together so i can add the extra foglight switch and the ABS disable switch to it...

other than that though, i've done a full swapover including :
gauges
leather buckets
center console
overhead console

oh, and it's not really explorer, but one of my favorite mods is I now have "Oh ****" handles in my cab on the A-pillars...i got the handles and brackets from the junkyard and ordered the panels from the dealership

check it out if you like...may get some ideas...
