Explorer Cluster installed with pics

This is the third interior mod that is complete on my 99 XLT single cab. I got a 2003 4x4 Explorer gauge cluster installed today. It has gray faces to match the interior. The best part is the tachometer. This cluster came out of an automatic so I had to paint over the PRND21 and remove the wire. It turned out really nice. Thanks Hooligan for the cluster. Here is the before and after pictures.

The PRND12 slides out the bottom. I have the same cluster and there is a little black switch on the bottom, push that to the side and it will pop out.

Wanna trade clusters? I got a 2 wheel drive one and it looks like your truck is 2 wheel drive?

You are right, I removed it for a matching paint job.

I am about to build a drive shaft tunnel for super low cruising, and I am thinking about installing a Hurst during this time.

You probably can if you take it apart. But, I do not know to be completely honest.
