Hello, New here but I was curious if anyone has done a seat swap from a 1991 explorer into a 1997 ford ranger. i absolutely hate the (60-40) seats, and if i could fit one of those massive consoles in there then that would be awesome! Just seeing if that swap is out there, or if its even possible. Thanks!

 

there are a few good YouTube videos that demonstrate this. i recommend the 2001 console if you have a manual. the organizer is conveniently able to pop out and fit a shifter through. my ranger came with a more rare 50/50 seat and a crappy console with non functioning cup holders because of the shifter. also you can get bucket seats out of most explorers, rangers, expeditions, and older f150s. iwould chech first though.
