I took my center console out because the armrest was broken.. I painted the rest of the plastic to make it look a little nicer, but it turned out brown (for some reason). Anyway, I wanna put something where it was so theres not just an open space.
I was lookin' into 60/40 seats but I'm not sure how hard that would be to find.. so I'm lookin' for some help here, can you guys throw me some ideas as to what I could put there.. or tell me what you have there

 

why not try repainting it again ?

 

maybe use some better paint.

well you could put a sub there, build a custom console, maybe a built in cooler, 60/40 seats, maybe some kind of storage area.

and 60/40 seats are a dime a dozen. practically every ranger had them. only a handful got the buckets.

60/40 seats are the most popular seat out there have fun with it.

 

Using a 60/40 will eliminate the console completely is this what you want to do ?
Funny when you have a 60/40 you want buckets and vice-versa.
There are plenty of aftermarket Consoles that will fit the space, measure up the area and start looking.
Double check Craig's List and E-Bay, might find something that will fit from a Ford Product.

I am with Redneckstone on this, repaint, clean it up really well, wipe it down wih Prepsol, buy some SEMS paint ($12/can) matched to your interior and repaint. Any Auto Paint Dealer will have a chart with all of the colors and see what matches but do the matching outside in the sun light.
