Lock Box

Well Mr Brian Preston of Dickinson,Texas , posting that you keep handguns locked in your truck while at work could negate any lock box security you were thinking of achieving .
Posting on an open forum that kind of info could entice those of ill repute into not only just looking for firearms but also the box they are stored in.
Laws don't mean anything to lawbreakers. But providing them with info=priceless.
If you can't carry at work I suggest leaving it at home , or possibly changing your name on an open forum.
And if thieves get in they WILL find a way of relieving you of you're weapon.

however, it will ward of your average crime-of-opportunity thief. not too many texas gun thieves browsing r-f right now looking for what kind of boxes people are using. some, maybe, sure, but its mostly crime of opportunity.
Lots of options, toolbox in bed, ammo cans, and regular gun lock box that will fit under the seat, cut a slit in your seat and slide the gun in
