You can get an explorer center console if you have bucket seats.

 

im really looking for like what the newer explorers that conects all the way to the dash

But, if you have the 60/40 seats (with the armrest console) then you will either have to switch to bucket seats, or cut apart your 60/40s.

You can find explorer center consoles on junk yards, or online.

Or you can look for the wanted black shorty console. They come in the Level II's (or just paint one black from an explorer)

You can also find them in a JY or online. Some slight modifications will be necessary to install into your ranger though, but its not too difficult.

 

There are two types of Full Length Consoles from the Ex that will work.

One has a digital console by the Dash, this one looks great when all set up but to me the wiring would be a PITA. If you are good at tracing, connecting and working with existing electronic systems then it might work for you.

The second one has a small square holder at the dash.

Both are a PITA to get out of the Ex’s, a lot of clips holding things together, not just an unbolt. Take your time and you can get one out with out cracking.

Since you have an auto trans you won’t have to worry about the shifter coming through the console.

Chk out the local JYs, not a lot of people are doing the full length stuff so there should be a few around.
