I have a 95 extended cab ranger, and I pulled a full length console from a 1999 ford explorer, and had my mechanic install it.
I am wondering if the floor is made the same in my ranger, as the ford explorer, or he didn't position something correctly?
When I took it out of the Explorer, there was no ashtray in the front of the console, and was bolted on there.
Don't appear to be touching the ashtray, but down below, like the rear should be tipped up a bit, and moved forward or something?
I may have to jerk it back out, and remove the ash trays.
How does the ash tray come out anyway?
This one is in a 2002 Ranger he said, but same console as mine. Not sure why mine isn't fitting up like his is?
