Icon5 fx4 shifter ?

ok so I am looking at getting an fx4 shifter but I have no idea where to find one? I live in canada and have called several ford dealerships and they don't sell aftermarket shifter arms.
Any ideas on where I can get one? thanks!

The FX4 shift lever is a Ford part, not aftermarket.

Most of the specialty FX4 parts have been discontinued. You could have your Ford dealer do a dealer inventory search but I suspect you'll end up getting one at a junkyard or on the Ranger boards. Even if you could find the parts new, the prices are unbelievable.

Transmission Chrome Shift Lever:
1L5Z-7210-BC superseded by part number 6L5Z-7210-BA.
USD$300

Transmission Shift Ball:
1L5Z-7213-AA
USD$120

oh ok well that explains a lot then. Thanks for clearing that up! I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick with my stock shifter considering the prices are outrageous! the hurst shifter is 360$? that's insane!

thanks again

I got chrome FX4 arm on here used for $70. I waited a year before I found one. I bought a Hurst mustang 5 speed ball for $30 for it since I couldn't find a stock FX4 ball.

ok awesome do you have any pictures of the chrome arm? also it's my understanding that it is a direct oem fit... all I have to do is take the stock one off and replace it with this fx4 one..?
send me a picture and I will definitley buy it.
thanks

why would you have bought a long arm hurst shifter? also does it bring the shifter ball closer to you? how long is the shaft?

thanks

I like them better. I've never used one but I hate how sloppy the shifting is on the stock and FX4. The Hurst is much better but the normal Hurst is too short IMO so I would get the optional long arm.

Lol I'm not selling it. I was telling you how I got mine HAHA. Sorry.

Anyway I compared my stock shift with the FX4 shifter and they are relatively close in height. The main difference is the top of the arm bends in toward you so it's more comfortable to shift.

Personally I would look into a Hurst or wait to get one used on here. Not too long ago a guy had his brand new whole hurst set up (boot, ball, and arm) for sale for $200.

All good, I reread it and it did look like I said I was selling it on here not got it on here like I meant.
