I've been wanting some indiglo gauges like that... I've seen thos on eBay plenty of times.

How's the install? I had some on my Chrysler Cirrus and all I had to do was slide them over the needles. Do you have to remove the needles like many brands or were you able to install without needle removal?

install took about 30 min

yes....all you have to do is slide them over the needles
i wasn't really impressed by this but they look DAMN good at night cruising around

i mounted the power supply behind my head unit with the on/off switch and dimmer mounted under the dash above my shifter

i'm working on a switch panel that i will relocate them onto in a week or two
but for now its out of the way

they're are like an indiglo nite light
very thin

the indiglo's use an AC power supply....so you need a converter to convert dc back to ac
which came with the kit

yes they are overlays but they have their own light source which gives them the even glow instead of the standard bulbs which would be spotty

so it is thicker than a standard overlay.....will u be able to see the green through the overlays? what happens if a light goes out on the overlays? also can u wire them up to ur headlight switch so u dont have to have that extra switch? also im guessing that **** is for dimming...would u be able to wire that up to the stock dimmer? thanks i am apparently a newb when it comes to "idaglo"...lol

no....they are just as thick as stock gauge faces
i almost took my old faces off and put these on but i was lazy and in a hurry

no....no light from the stock gauges shines through, only the needles use the factory lighting along with all the idiot lights

yes...you could wire the switch and dimmer to the factory lights but like i said...i was lazy and in a hurry. over time i will eventually switch everything over unless i mod a sport trac cluster with LED's....

i only know of indiglows because its the same technology i had for rope lights on my RC planes...
