It depends on how electrically inclined you are. It shouldn't be too hard. Have you looked in to a factory cruise setup? I don't know how reliable those aftermarket kits are.

I have thought about taking the one off the 4.0 explorer that I'm parting off, I will need to look it over close to see what all it connects too. This one might work for you.
