how hard is it to take dash apart?

warranty runs dry in 1300 miles. and i really like the silver trimmed gauges in the lvl2's so i was thinkin of maybe pulling out my gauges and painting that lil edge around my gauges like on the lvl2's my question is, how big of a btch is it to pull it all aprt and put it back together with out parts left over? when i did my ac mod, i some how ended up with 2 extra screws

The first time i did it, it took a little while.. now i can have the gauges out in 15 min lol. its pretty easy to me

takes me about 15 min, too. sorry to steal your thunder but for the guys that have taken their gauges out...how did you do it without messing them up? i did the LED dash mod and took my needles off and now my gas gauge moves in the OPPOSITE direction. no idea how to fix it. taking off the dash is relatively easy, shouldnt have any problems

you will need the 04+ cluster, even then im not sure it will work, i know the odo is driven by PCM i think but might want to check compatibility.

mine has been apart a few times lol
