Q? re-route a/c controls
#2
I'm assuming you want to move all 3 of your controls because moving JUST the a/c would seem pointless to me. If you are trying to move all 3 of your climate controls, total relocation would be very hard due to the fact that there are vacuum tubes used behind the scenes and they would be tricky to re-run, but you might be able to move them a few inches around according to how much slack in the wires/tubes you have.

When my wife used to work part time at Circuit City, one of the guys there had done this with a late '90s Explorer in order to put a bigger sound system/video screen in the dash. The HVAC controls were relocated to an aftermarket overhead console type deal. I have no idea how it was done, but it was pretty ugly...lol!

Different years, different systems, just as he said.
